About this site
Sedation Detox lists every US program that offers opioid detox under sedation or anesthesia, with a source for every fact.
What is listed
Any US program that offers opioid detox under sedation or anesthesia, under any name: rapid detox, ultra-rapid detox, sedation-assisted detox, anesthesia-assisted detox, or a proprietary name. Programs that have closed or stopped offering the procedure are kept on the list and marked as such, because directories and search results keep sending people to them. Programs that offer only standard medical detox, outpatient sedation without anesthesia, or medication-assisted treatment are not listed.
Programs are listed without applying and cannot opt out. They can correct any fact on their page.
Where the facts come from
Each profile is built from the program's own website, state licensing records, court and regulatory filings, press archives, and the major treatment directories (rehab.com, recovery.com, Psychology Today, rehabs.com, addictionrehab.com and others). Every fact on a profile is attributed to one of these, with a link, and each profile shows the date it was last checked.
Where a program does not state something, the profile says "not stated" or "not published". Where sources conflict, the profile says so. Program statements about safety, success rates and patient numbers are reported as the program's statements and are not verified by us. Google ratings are shown as displayed on a cited page on a given date. Sedation Detox does not publish ratings or reviews.
What this site is not
Not medical advice, and not a recommendation of any program. Sedation Detox does not arrange treatment, take referrals or operate a hotline. Phone numbers and links are the ones programs publish on their own sites.
Corrections
If you represent a listed program and a fact on your page is wrong, out of date or missing, email corrections@sedationdetox.com with the correction and a source. Every request is reviewed and the page is updated with a new check date. Sourced public records such as court decisions and state investigation reports are not removed, but your response is added to the page.
